Mississippi Sound - Saltwater Fishing Report

Had friends Andy Rowell and his 10-year-old son Drew down to fish for 2 days, and man did they have a blast catching speckled trout.

ABOVE: DAY ONE!
On day one the guys put 15 really nice specks and a fine bass in the live well. And on both days, well, we took it easy and didn't get out on the water till around noon.

ABOVE: DAY TWO!
On day two with so many anglers in the good hole as of late I decided to make a long exploratory run, and it paid off.

ABOVE: 22-inch speck!
We took 19 specks on the second outing, and two of those fish went 18 and 22-inches. Nice big fat trout!

ABOVE: Drew's fat bass!
All of the fish, including the bass, fell for soft-plastics slowly bumped across the river's bottom.

ABOVE: An 18 and 22-inch speckled trout!
Life is good...let's fish!
