Mississippi Sound - Saltwater Fishing Report

ALL OF MISSISSIPPI'S WATERS ARE NOW OPEN TO FISH & KEEP! SO COME ON DOWN TO SOUTH MISSISSIPPI AND STEP ABOARD "TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS" TO CATCH & KEEP YOUR SHARE OF DELICIOUS FISH!
Fished Thursday and Friday with more great results. On Thursday it was a short trip, but Ben Benoit had a great time hauling in 80 plus white trout all on artificial baits under popping corks, and then finished off the outing with 8 big fat speckled trout, as well as 3 fine Spanish mackerel.

On Friday it was Don Sipp back aboard TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS, and this time he wanted to hammer the white trout. A meat run!
Well, it was a fish on every cast using popping corks and a tandem of soft plastics (Speck-A-Go-Go's), and quite often they were coming in 2 at a time. Boxed a big Spanish mackerel too, and the little sharks were thick as all get out.
In about 2 hours 156 trout filled up the big ice chest, and Don and I cleaned them together, he scalled and I filleted. Don went home with a 40 quart ice chest full of delicious and boneless trout fillets.

Needless to say he was a happy man! With all of our waters open now the barrier islands are open for fishing too, and looking forward to catching some Florida pompano before October is over.
Come on down, fishing is great, and our waters are clean and clear!
Regards,
Capt. Robert L. Brodie of TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS
