Mississippi Sound - Saltwater Fishing Report

On Saturday my clients were Tony Fragello, his son-in-law Jason Defatta, and John Loose.

This was a surpise birthday gift set up for Tony by his wife. On this morning outing the guys landed 2 black drum, one a big specimen caught by Jason, as well as a fine catch on nice white trout, a total of 95 delicious trout.

These gentlemen were an extreme pleasure to fish with, and the weather was simply gorgeous. Also, Tony hooked and jumped off a nice tripletail, and he got a kick out of that.
On Sunday, John Noel of Jackson, MS, a regular client aboard TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS landed a nice box of fish. We started out at Ship Island where John landed one Florida pompano, and lost 2 other nice pomps.

With the weather looking threating we ran back into the Back bay of Biloxi where John enjoyed an evening of bottom fishing in calm waters.
There, a good bite turned on, and John proceeded to land 22 black drum, a nice redfish, as well as 2 sheepshead. Hey, always have to have a "Plan B" in this business!
Have plenty of trips coming up this weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday), and looking forward to some good fishing. All regular clients that are hard core anglers.
All I know is, if the bite is on they will load the boat with meat. Until next report keep it safe out there, and good fishing!
Many thanks to all,
Capt. Robert L. Brodie of TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS
