Bull Shoals - Freshwater Fishing Report

Subject: SCHNABLE...Bull Shoals report from K Dock
Bull Shoals has started releasing water, which is resulting in about a 2 – 3 inch drop per day. The water temp shot up fast, into the mid 80′S. Clear water conditions with little to no debris. We are 8.4 ft above the normal power pool of 654 which makes for beautiful lake conditions!
Water Level – 662.4 and falling
Water Temp – 85 degrees
Water is Clear
Black Bass are Good on 10″ soft plastic worms, brush hogs, jigs and top water baits. Also hitting spinner baits on windy days. Work rock points and rock bluffs. Bass have started to move to deeper water during the day.
Walleye are Good on large crank baits and bottom bouncers. These fish have also moved to the deeper, cooler water. Look for the big keepers suspended in about 15 to 25 foot range.
Crappie are Fair on minnows over brush piles. Also lots of crappie coming in while trolling with small to medium crank baits in 10 – 20 ft of water. The Crappie are scattered all over the lake right now.
