Bull Shoals - Freshwater Fishing Report

Water Level 654.00

Water is Stained (Alge Bloom)

Water Temp 77 degrees

Black Bass – Good on 3/8 to 1/2 oz jigs. Peanut Butter and Jelly and Green Missouri Craw w/craw or twin tail 4″ trailers. Also good on a variety of Crank Baits on the main lake rock bluffs. Square bill to deep diving DD22′S are catching bass right now. Have a Plum or Blue Fleck 10″ worm ready as well.

Walleye – Good on shallow running crank baits. Chartreuse Pearl, Firetiger and Chrome & Blue have been working well. A #7 Flicker Shad is still producing the most hits. Also have had good results bottom bouncing night crawler on the sand flats in about 20 ft.

Crappie – Good to Fair on live minnows. Look for crappie in deeper water over brush piles and stumps. Many crappie are coming out of 20 ft water.
