Table Rock - Freshwater Fishing Report

APRIL 30, 2009
Lake Level: 915.78
Water Temps: 63-68
Fish are in all stages of the spawn. Topwater bite is picking up as fish get done spawning and start to feed up on shad on main lake and secondary points. Look for deep water
and submerged timber close to the spawning pockets. Zara Spooks, Red fins, & swim baits are working and the bottom bite is also starting to pick up. Watermelon candy, green pumpkin colors are working good on Carolina rigged French fries, lizards & 1/2 & 5/8 oz. football jigs. A pretty good bite around and in the buck brush where fish have been spawning. Water levels have been dropping everyday pulling the fish out of brush, try weightless Senco's rigged Texas or wacky style in front of bushes and on steeper banks in creeks. Also try Shakey head, 6" Zoom trick worms in watermelon candy and green pumpkin. These colors are working well. Fish the small pockets on the bluffs or pockets in the major creek arms.
Table Rock Fishing Forecast:

Fish will soon move into post spawn and will be feeding heavily
