Table Rock - Freshwater Fishing Report

July 19, 2009
Lake Level: 916.26
Water Temp: Main Lake: 82-87
Kimberling City, Baxter, Campbell Point & Dam area to Aunt's Creek~
The best bite is deep but there has been a good shallow bite early on 3/8 & 1/2 oz. football
jigs fished at 5' - 15'. Crankbaits, Deep Little N's, DT-10 and 7A bombers fished on gravel and chunk rock on main lake points. Look for flatter points, when this bite stops back boat out and fish same areas about 20' - 25', I have been catching smallmouths on this pattern.
The best deep bite has been suspended fish over deep submerged timber on main lake points, bluff ends and in the major creeks on deep secondary points. They are suspending 25' -35' over 40' - 100'. Look for tree tops that come up to 25' -35', also look for shad schooling.
White & chrome 1/2 & 3/4 oz jigging spoons are working well and 4" worms rin watermelon candy, plum, and watermelon red rigged on drop shot.
River Arms
Having good luck on Texas rigged worms, Shakey Head worm, and 1/4 oz. jigs in 2' - 10' deep on channel swing banks in the upper creek arms arms and river channels.
Target Species:

Largemouth, Kentucky & smallmouths
