Montana fishing update

Brian McGeehan
May 9, 2011
Bozeman - Freshwater Fishing Report

The mother's day caddis hatch is in full swing on the Yellowstone and Lower Madison. The Yellowstone muddied up a bit the other day after a few days of warm weather that melted low elevation snow. We currently have a cool front moving in bringing rain that is triggering strong baetis hatches on the Madison. The cool weather should bring the Yellowstone's clarity around for a few more days of good fishing before it blows out for good. For more visit http://www.montanaangler.com/montana-fishing-report
