Striper fishing report for September. Fishing remains good with many stripers and a few blues still in the river. On most trips 20-40 fish are still being caught Not as many large fish as some years but as the weather has gotten cooler, a few keeper size fish (over 28inches) are being brought to the boat. Still have a few openings for the end of September, and I plan on fishing up till Oct. 1 which traditionally has been the end of good striper fishing. With the warm summer we have had and lack of rain, maybe they will stay around a little longer this year. Regards, Capt. Joel
