Portsmouth - Saltwater Fishing Report
Week Ending 7/15/07
Great weather this week with a lot of Striped Bass caught on each trip. Also had a couple of lost hooks to small bluefish, their teeth are sharp, and a few in the boat if the circle hook was lodged just right in the corner of their mouths. We caught a few keepers this week as well but certainly saw our share of "just unders" this week. Live bait has been difficult to catch, and has actually been more difficult to locate than the stripers. Using cut bait as we do, not a lot of time is lost before we are into the fish.
Fishing for Striped Bass for 1 to 4 anglers, from June 1 through Sept. 30. We use light tackle and fish inshore or near shore where there is never a chance of getting seasick. Guaranteed to catch fish! 4 hour/6 hour/8 hour trips available
