Clam beds alive with feeding Bass

Capt. Karl McKenna
April 26, 2012
Sandy Hook - Saltwater Fishing Report

April 21. Ran out to the clam beds again on a foggy morning. We were the only boat on the grounds for hours. Had our first Bass on within about 10 min. All of the fish were over 15 lbs and very active giving a great fight right up to the net. Had the boats limit of big keepers by 8:30 am and played catch and release the rest of the trip.

Sandy Hook Fishing Forecast:

The Striper fishing shows no sign of slowing down and should actually get better within the next couple of weeks. A new body of bigger fish came in this week following the big schools of bait coming into the area.
