San Juan River - Freshwater Fishing Report

Hello Everybody,
The river is flowing around 250 cfs, river clarity is around three to four feet. The river is fishing good, and the crowds are gone, Off Season rates are in affect. Lots of great fishing in the riffles. Dry fly fishing is great in the lower stretches using size #26 olive & brown midges. Large black midge cluster pattern working good. The beatis hatch has been good this last week. My clients caught some nice fish on a parachute Adams # 20's. The lower part of the river is fishing good below Simon Canyon. Streamer fishing is working good using wooly buggers, or zonker patterns. Tight Lines until next time. Mark
