New San Juan River,NM fishing report

Hello everybody, Fishing report 4/2/06 The current San Juan River flow is close to 360 cfs. The river is clear with visibility of about 4-5 feet. The river is fishing great. The days are getting longer and warmer. The beatis hatch has been best on cloudy days. Midges early am, beatis late am, midges late afternoon most days. UPPER FLATS TO TEXAS HOLE: Fishing has been good in the braids and the upper flats water. The main channel is still being over fished. The bottom line about fishing the main channel is be prepared too share. It is always crowed any more.. TEXAS HOLE to end of the quality waters This area of the river is fishing good. The fish are starting to move into the riffles, and the overall report is that the fish are getting more active.
