Lake Ontario - Freshwater Fishing Report

Today is Monday March 26, 2012.
The temperatures have returned to a more normal level over the past several days and are supposed to remain there for the next few days.
This should bring the temperatures in the tributaries into a more seasonal level but we are in need of some rain to maintain good water levels.
On Glenwood Lake good reports of Bullhead and Crappie are being reported.
Lake Alice catches include Bluegills and Crappies in decent numbers.
Steelhead/Rainbow trout are still being taken on Johnson Creek at Lyndonville.
Perch are still be taken in good numbers on Oak Orchard River from the bridges all the way north to the point.
On Lake Ontario good catches of both Brown trout and Steelhead/Rainbow trout are being reported when the near shore waters take on some color from wind and wave action.
Let's make everyday a great fishing day, right here in Orleans County.
