Lake Ontario - Freshwater Fishing Report

Today is Monday June 4, 2012.
First congratulations to all who participated in the Niagara County Pro-Am Tournament this past weekend.
The weather was not the best and fishing conditions were not easy.
This coming weekend is the Orleans County Pro-Am Tournament.
On Friday the Condor Big 3 Fish event takes place and you can enter up to 7 AM on Friday at Captain's Cove, Narby's, Lake Breeze Marina or Four C's Marina.
With all of the tournaments going on, no one is willing to give up much information about what is happening on Lake Ontario.
The information should be more available after this coming weekend.
On the other waters within Orleans County, Fish has been good to very good.
On Lake Alice Bluegill fishing has been very good, Crappie fishing has been good and Walleye fishing has been slow.
On Johnson Creek from the lake to the Kuckville Bridge Northern Pike and Bass has accounted for some great fishing.
The Erie Canal has provided some great bass fishing with some larger size fish than normal.
Glenwood Lake has been producing some good numbers of both Large and Smallmouth bass.
Let's make everyday a great fishing day, right here in Orleans County.
