Lake Ontario - Freshwater Fishing Report

Today is Monday October 15, 2012.
Perch fishing seems to still be spotty, but those in the know say that the better catches start in November.
On Glenwood Lake good catches of Bass are still being taken.
On Lake Alice at the Waterport Bridge they are still taking good numbers of both Bluegill and Crappie.
The Oak is still the hotspot for Chinooks, Browns and Rainbow/Steelheads right from the piers at the point all the way to the Waterport Dam.
The key is to pick a spot and stay with it as the fish are moving thru in waves.
On Johnson Creek there are fish all the way to the Dam at Lyndonville but the better fishing is still at the North end of the Creek around the Route 18 Bridge.
Marsh Creek has fish early in the morning but most have been caught early in the day.
Sandy Creek seems to have better Brown and Rainbow/Steelhead fishing than our other tributaries at this point.
Let's make everyday a great fishing day, right here in Orleans County.
