Lake Ontario - Freshwater Fishing Report

Today is Wednesday June 5, 2013.
The weatherman is predicting moderate temperatures and the probability of rain right into the upcoming weekend.
Fortunately the fish don't know that it's raining, so as long as we don't have any great barometric fluctuations, fishing should be good.
With the 8th Annual Orleans County Pro-Am Tournament taking place this weekend, there is not much information available for Lake Ontario.
The only thing that I have heard fairly consistently is look at the 80 to 100 foot range before wandering off too far.
With the continuing rain that is predicted for the rest of the week, there should be a pretty defined mud line in the Lake which would be another good place to take a peek at.
On Lake Alice the Bluegill and Crappie bite seems to be holding steady.
On all of the inland waters of Orleans County Bass fishing is very good but again, Bass season doesn't open until the 3rd Saturday in June so please practice catch and immediately release.
Let's make everyday a great fishing day, right here in Orleans County.
