Lake Ontario - Freshwater Fishing Report

Today is Wednesday August 28, 2013.
Well it looks like the weather for the rest of the week and into the holiday weekend is going to provide some great fishing weather.
Light winds and little or no precipitation is being forecasted.
On the inland waters of Orleans County, fishing remains good to very good for a broad variety of the warm water species.
Bass, Carp and Northern pike are ever present throughout the tributaries and Perch seem to be up and down on the Oak.
On Lake Ontario Trout and Salmon are being caught anywhere from 80 feet of water all the way out to the "fence".
Cut bait is the ever increasing bait of choice, but gold spoons and a variety of flasher/fly combinations; especially in green patterns are catching their fair share.
This is the last week of the Fall LOC Derby so there is still time to cash in on some great cash prizes.
From the 2013 World Fishing Network's Ultimate Fishing Town USA, Point Breeze, and the rest of Orleans County, let's make everyday a great fishing day, right here in Orleans County.
