The Orleans Rotary Derby runs thru the 16th of this month and still has plenty of room on the leader board for you to enter that great fish that is out there just waiting for you.
Why not get a couple for friends together for a fun trip on Lake Ontario and a chance of fame in this derby.
On the inland waters within Orleans County Bass, both large and small mouth are the kings.
The cooler temperatures should keep these fish very active.
Both Crappie and Bluegill are still being taken on Lake Alice but numbers are slowing down as they move to deeper waters.
On Oak Orchard River along with the bass, catches of Northern Pike, Perch and pan fish are being taken.
As always the Erie Canal offers endless possibilities for your fishing enjoyment as it meanders thru Orleans County.
