Long Island - Saltwater Fishing Report

Me and Mike did an away trip on Kevins sweet 48' Viking Barbara Ann out of shinnecock. We headed out at 6am and ran a few miles south of the coimbria and spotted some draggers with whales and dolphins in the area. we set up a spread and had 2 misses on green machines. after an hour we ran out to 100 square and trolled to the deep. we picked up a pair of mahis by a pot. Then a Blue Marlin hits and starts Tail walking putting on a spectacular show! mike fought the fish. we brought it in to remove the hook take some pics then released it. No tuna to be found in the 79 degree water. we did a quick tilefish drop and found a few for the table. looks like the tuna moved east to the cooler temp break.
P.S. we are available sunday and next week for inshore and offshore trips.
Tight lines!
