High Adventure Sportfishing Salmon River Fishing Report

Capt. Troy Creasy
April 11, 2010
Salmon River - Freshwater Fishing Report

Here we are in mid April and conditions are more like mid May. Fish are dropping fast but the action remains good most days. Dropback fishing is pretty easy if you can find a good pod of fish. They are hungry and will generally bite about any offering. Eggs, worms. flies, spinners, your choice.

Fish the fastest deepest water you can find. They need oxygen as water temps climb into the 50's each day.

Here are some pics from the last week or so, sorry about the lack of updates, but noe much has changed. We need rain bad to carry this season into May. Keep your fingers crossed.

27 days to go on the river and I switch gears to the lake. I have plenty of days open in May and June. Give us a call if you want to lock something in.

See you on the water.

Target Species:

steelhead
