Back on the Lake
I was back on the lake today with Billy, Kenny, Chuck and Frank from Connecticut. We had a great day going 10 for 14 on browns and salmon with three over 10 pounds, the largest being 12.5. The weather was cold but the mid-morning bite was on. Black and silver T-Spoons and Smithwicks were the Hot items. We trolled 1.9 to 2.1 in 15 to 35 feet of water.
The salmon river still has plenty of fish and it is running at a puffy 700cfs. Perfect water.
This past week has provided some excellent fishing on Lake Ontario and the Salmon River. The browns are showing up in good numbers along the Oswego shoreline and the steelhead are dropping down the salmon river and biting like crazy. We took a 15 pound brown on Saturday.
Now is the time to get in on the hot bite. I still have May 4, 8, 12, 14 all day and the May 9, 13, 16 in the afternoon. There are also excellent days available throughout the summer months. Don't miss out, give us a call now. 315-298-2410 Tight Lines, Troy Captain Troy A. Creasy High Adventure Sportfishing www.highadventurefishing.com Lake Ontario Outdoors www.lakeontariooutdoors.com
