Salmon River - Freshwater Fishing Report

Big Browns
The fishing across the eatern basin of the lake continues to be good with nice catches of brown trout and a few salmon mixed in. This nice weather is finally warming the shoreline and the browns are active early in the morning. We have been fishing right outside of the Oswego Harbor. The river has been flooded for two weeks and the water has great color. T-Spoons in back and silver and the brown trout pattern has been good, along with smithwicks off the boards. The best speed has been 2.0 to 2.2, but some days they want it fast. 2.5 has produced some good results. I am getting mixed reports on the walleye fishing. Some are doing well and others are struggling. I have to fish walleyes later this week and all of next week so I will have a first hand report.
Now is the time to book for warmer weather, I still have June 3, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16. There are also plenty of excellent days available throughout the summer months. Don't miss out, give us a call now. 315-298-2410 Tight Lines, Troy Captain Troy A. Creasy High Adventure Sportfishing www.highadventurefishing.com Lake Ontario Outdoors www.lakeontariooutdoors.com
