Salmon River - Freshwater Fishing Report

Hot Fishing & Big Water on the Way!!

By: Troy

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Going to 1500cfs Friday night!!!!!

Great! I know they are doing this in anticipation of a flash flood, but I call it putting the Kart ahead of the horse. What if we don't get the rain they are forecasting? Then we will have no water. I hope I am wrong.

Today was a great day for us on the boat. Kevin, If you see this... It is you!! sorry We had fish everywhere we stopped today. Unlike yesterday. Sorry :)

Spawning time is upon us and a lot of the fish are on the gravel.

Please be careful this weekend and Do Not wade out!! The fish will be at your feet. Cast 5 to 15 feet in front of you. You will hook up!

Pictures

A chrome Steelhead for Mark! One of twofor him. Both were released unharmed.

Another Big Coho for Steve. Lot's of Coho's this year.

More fish!
