New York Fishing Report for Lake Ontario and Salmon River

Capt. Troy Creasy
December 3, 2006
Salmon River - Freshwater Fishing Report

High Adventure Fishing Report 12/01/06

Here it December. Wow, where does time go? Crazy weather today. Cold & wet, then warm and wet. Temps went from 39 to 59 and back to 45 by dark!!

Major snow and winds for Saturday. Winter is upon us! Should be fun. Water down, water up, now going back down tonight they tell me 750 until ??

Tony Polley and his 9 yr old son Triston, braved the elements and were handsomely rewarded today. We worked real hard to hook 9 fish today. High water, leaves, grass, rain and wind made it tough for sure!

These guys are great to fish with, as they always stay positive and never complain. Thanks again for the goodies Tony.

Only got the one picture during the short time it wasn't pouring on us. This was fish number three of the day, a nice 10 pound male!

Everything is blown back out again but this may set up the small streams for another good push of fish. I think the next week will be on fire again, as the streams recede. I have a few days next week if anyone is interested.

How would you like your picture in Lake Ontario Outdoors magazine?

If so, send them to Troy @ lakeontariooutdoors.com You can also log on to our website at www.Lakeontariooutdoors.com for daily fishing reports, events, charters and river guides, as well as numerous links to great sites and area businesses.

Remember to stay safe, be respectful of others and put a few back for another day.

This is Captain Troy Creasy, See you on the water and God Bless.
