Salmon River Oswego River Fishing Report

Capt. Troy Creasy
November 24, 2011
Salmon River - Freshwater Fishing Report

Finally after close to three months of low water some much needed rain fell on the region and we can use it.
Now you don't have to go to the same spot and fight the crowds.
All the area rivers and streams will be teaming with trout. We have had an excellent fall and the weather has been super as well. November is all but in the books and soon Winter is going to finally rear its ugly head.
We hope everyone is enjoying the long holiday weekend. I am spending Thursday with family and back to work tomorrow. Whatever you are doing, we hope you are having fun.

Best baits have been blue, yellow and pink eggs, beads in glow roe and white lightning and flies in any egg pattern. We are taking most of the fish bottom bouncing and float fishing.

To any of those that did not rebook for the fall of 2012, here is all I have left for next year's river salmon season.
September 13, 25
October 2, 9, 11, 16, 22, 24, 30, 31.
If you want to book something call me ASAP.

As for Spring 2012, I have: plenty of days in March. April 2, 5, 22, 25, 29
May 1, 2, 7, 8 ,9 10 for the river.

It is never too early to book lake charters for the summer and we are again offering gift certificates. Shelley does them up on a nice heavy card stock. Just contact Shelley at 315-298-2410 and she will take care of it.

Remember to stay safe, be respectful of others and put a few back for another day.
See you on the water. Troy
