Cape Fear River - Saltwater Fishing Report

Click to Enlarge PhotoCape Fear red fishing has improved since the water has cooled down.Red drum are biting live bait & jigs with plastic tails.Fished two days this week bite has been steady almost every stop,red drum are hitting hard & giving the anglers lot's of excitement on light spinning tackle.Virgina mullet are also being caught on cut bait & shrimp just south of the Fort Fisher Ferry landing in 25'of water.Speckle trout have been showing up in the inlets all along the Cape Fear Region of North Carolina fish early morning & just before sun set for best bites.Click to Enlarge Photo
