Cape Fear River - Saltwater Fishing Report

I fished a creek off the Cape Fear River on June 25,2009 found the red drum to be biting hard!
Bait used were small menhaden,on the Carolina rig.Flounder are also showing up in the smaller creeks off the Cape Fear River.

Cape Fear River Fishing Forecast:

The small pop eyed mullet still have not shown up in large numbers yet,when they show I expect the red drum bite to really pick up.
