Cape Fear River - Saltwater Fishing Report

Speckle Trout in June not the normal,but the Cape Fear River is not your normal inshore fishery,it is one that holds fish year round.
The falling tide in one of the smaller creeks just off the Cape Fear river yielded a good bite of speckle trout this week,found the fish t be in the 2lb. to 3lb. size and feeding hard on menhaden.

Speckle trout will be feeding early morning & late on a falling tide.
