Carolina Beach Fishing Destination

Capt. Michael Dennis
July 11, 2010
Carolina Beach - Saltwater Fishing Report

Carolina Beach,N.C. is one of North Carolina's prime coastal inshore fishing destinations connected to the Cape Fear River by Snow's Cut which produces some of the largest flounder in the state.
Red drum bite has been consistent in July, left the dock at 11:30 am returned at 4:45 pm found the red drum biting on the rising tide.Fishing a grass line just off the Cape Fear River, live menhaden on Carolina rigs produced multiple hook-ups of red drum in the 24" to 26" class releasing all fish in the 1ower slot size of 18".
Red drum fishing requires just a little bit of patience waiting for the hard pull, but the reward of these hard fighting fish can really put excitement to the day.
Consider Carolina Beach,N.C. for your next family vacation,be sure to give Capt.Mike Dennis a call at 910-619-0928,you want go wrong fishing with the Cape Fear Guide.
