Carolina Beach - Flounder

Capt. Michael Dennis
May 21, 2008
Carolina Beach - Saltwater Fishing Report

I fished yesterday afternoon right in the Carolina Beach Yacht basin, bait used was small menhaden light lines, tide was dead low, fishing in about 2' of water, just as soon as the tide changed the flounder started to bite, I could actually see the flounder come to the surface after the fleeing bait. The water started to rise and the bluefish moved in,and stopped the flounder bite.
