Fall fishing on the OBX

Capt. Raymond Pugh
October 28, 2013
Outer Banks - Saltwater Fishing Report

Fall fishing has kicked in on the Outer Banks. In the surf and sound, Red Drum and Speckle Trout are hot. The Striped Bass in the sound around the bridge should pick up soon. Offshore, the Tuna and Wahoo have been good with some days better than others. The King Mackerel bite has been good when you are using live bait, with limits possible. We are hoping the ocean water will cool off this winter so the big Stripers will show up. We haven't seen them in a few years. Shoot me an email and lets go fishing.
