Portland - Freshwater Fishing Report

We have been fishing for sturgeon on the Willamette River in the Portland area. The water is 45 degrees now and the fish have been biting. The best baits have been fresh smelt and sand shrimp.

Portland Fishing Forecast:

Sturgeon fishing will remain good thruough the spring. We are expecting the largest spring run of salmon this year since 1938. The best months for those are March' April''and May
