Capt. Bob Baker

Boca Chica - Saltwater Fishing Report

348 lb. yellow fin, many over 200 lbs., on POPPERS!

Where ELSE are you going to hear those kinds of fishing reports. answer :nowhere. We're talking EVERY day.
MARLIN? You want marlin? What color? Blue? Black?

Fishing could not be better, but then it GET'S better. 3-4 marlin hits per day are not uncommon.

Sails are in good numbers now also.

Snapper, grouper, amberjack on nearly every drop. Deep jiggig just slaying them>

Weather is fantastic. Seas are calm, bright sunshine, blue water.
Hotspots remain around Isla Montuosa and the Hannibal Bank. Wild fishing. Pitching poppers on spinning outfits into churning schools of big tuna in a feeding frenzy.

Time to go FISHIN"!!
