Boca Chica - Saltwater Fishing Report
Everybody's favorite, big yellow fin tuna, continue to take the paint off the poppers and bend those jigging sticks over double!!
Blue and black MARLIN ain't too shabby either!
Small tuna or bonito, rigged with circle hooks on their noses, are the best bait for the big girls. Isla Montuosa continues to shine, along with the Hannibal Bank. Don't forget Isla Ladrones too! Some great fishing for BIG cubera snapper and other species to be had there.
Found some very nice mullet snapper in 100 ft. the other day. big ,bloody chunks of fresh bonito pegged to a circle hook will get you bit....and HARD.
