Boca Chica - Saltwater Fishing Report

Right now we´re doing maintenence at the lodge up in Costa Rica, but when last we fished outside the reefs of PUNTA BURICA, we were covered up with yellowfin tuna.
Majority were in the 10-25 lb. class, although we did have one zinger on , using a BRAID butterfly jig (pink/silver/white), but the client let the line touch the gunwale for just a split ( or rather SNAP !) second.
Reports say all areas fishing well. Montuosa continues to shine. Marlin, a few sails, and lots of tuna. Love that place.
Blue and black MARLIN will begin to dominate the scene very shortly, both in Panama and out of our lodge in Playa Zancudo, Costa Rica.
Inshore continues great, as usual, and should get better, with more and more WAHOO catches coming. But the hoo´s are really closer to Sept./Oct. and into first weeks of Dec.
Good Fishing, WHEREVER You Are !! Capn Bob
