Boca Chica - Saltwater Fishing Report

Clients who don't mind donning some light rain-suits are having the time of their lives fighting some very nice BLACK MARLIN and big YELLOW FIN TUNA.
The seasonal rains have definitely not hurt the fishing.
Much of the action on these two species is centered around Isla Montuosa and the Hannibal Bank, but Isla Ladrones , often overlooked, has given up some nice marlin, big cubera and mullet snappers, and some very respectable DORADO lately.
Weather will continue to improve, as the Atlantic hurricane season winds down.
Even over in Costa Rica, out of Playa Zancudo, boats are coming in with a mixed bag of successes.
Marlin, tuna (some bigeye for early risers), and the always welcome, and highly grill-able DORADO have all been taken this past week.
WAHOO are still plentiful, and should remain so well into December.
All in all, it's been another wild, productive, "Off" season!
Be sure to make summer fishing plans early for the December-June " High' season !
