Boca Chica - Saltwater Fishing Report
Absolutely fantastic fishing these last few weeks. Weather now improving too.
Black marlin are seemingly everywhere. And when they arenŽt, weŽre up to our eyeballs in tuna. BIG tuna. Yellowfin over 200 lbs common.
WAHOO continue to be the other hot bite, rounding out a wild offshore trio.
WeŽre also taking some jumbo cubera snapper on deep drops. Cut bait, live bonito, blue runner, and butterfly jigs all working.
Fishing will only improve as summer gets closer.
Well, Wahoo numbers will drop off when the summer dry season arrives, but thereŽll still be a few around.
