Boca Chica - Saltwater Fishing Report

It has been a bit spotty, weather-wise , in the last few days. Passing low pressure systems, on their way to the Gulf of O'Bama, have kept most boats at the dock here.
When we do get a good day, or get a report from a returning boat, the news is the same. There are plenty of big yellowfin tuna around, with no sign of leaving anytime soon.
Actually, it only gets BETTER from here on, if that's possible.
Also, BLACK MARLIN numbers will increase dramatically in Aug/Sept, during their yearly migration.
WAHOO are all over the place, with some very nice catches .
We also ran onto a new honey hole for BIG cubera snapper last week. Took 3, which was plenty. One 42 lbs, with the other two at 36 and 22. Some very serious rod-benders.
Good Fishing, WHEREVER you are in the world !! Capn Bob
