Costa Rica Update

On his last day, actually close to his last HOUR, Gian Ziliani of Milan, Italy finally scored on a beautiful 500 lb. BLUE MARLIN. This was Gian's first marlin of ANY type, and he was totally overjoyed.

This one was taken on a dead mullet/circle hook pitch bait, thrown in after Sr. Ziliani pulled his FLY out of the water when he saw the size of the huge fish fast approaching the feathers! He didn't want to hurt himself, and also didn't want to be out on the Pacific all night.

Weather continues to hold for the "Fall Marlin Bite", and there are plenty of them outside. Should last until mid-Sept. More later and
