Panama - Boca Chica

Capt. Bob Baker
June 25, 2007
Boca Chica - Saltwater Fishing Report

Panama-Isla Ladrones to Montuosa

More and bigger WAHOO being taken from Parida Island and along the shelf that leads out to Isla Ladrones.

Bandera Rock, always a great fish haunt, is giving up some nice CUBERA SNAPPER along with the wahoo. We're trolling, FAST, some Yo-Zuri deep tremblors, with big Rapala's way back. A jet head plastic in the shotgun is picking off a lot of the many chicken dorado that make for a healthy diet this time of year.

Yellowfin TUNA are ten miles outside Ladrones and also in their favorite spot, between Montuosa and Isla Secas. Lots of bird and porpoise action in both places, which means lots of bait.

Remember, the best BLACK MARLIN fishing of the year is coming up in August and September. Don't miss out !!!

GOOD FISHING, WHEREVER YOU ARE !! Capt. Bob
