Boca Chica - Saltwater Fishing Report

Costa Rica--Panama Offshore
The waters spannig the area between Isla Montuosa (Panama) and Punta Salsipuedes (La Chancha-C.R.) are ALIVE with billfish.
Multiple hookups on blue marlin are not uncommon.
One boat had THREE blues on at the same time. Lost one, released two. Then had a double not 10 minutes later, lost one /released one.
world-Class no matter what part of the world you come from.
Big schools of tuna being chased by dolpins offer a truly "National Geographic" experience to anglers.
Sailfish are in record numbers.
Dorado are "like rice", which roughly translates into "A lot" down here.
Some of the tunas, yellowfin, are jumbo's, with three over 200 lbs. taken last week. Many, many in the 15-60 lb. class on top of the behemoths.
Seas are calm, flat , and the sun is strong. You can smell the gringo's sizzling when the breeze catches it right.
Plenty of great fishing left. Anytime to the end of JUNE, and then it most likely will remain better than average all the way to December, like last season.
