Boca Chica - Saltwater Fishing Report

According to the U.S. news, NOW is the time to take that fishing trip to Panama, or most anywhere south of Mexico. Forget Mexico.
Black and blue MARLIN continue to show off here, and the yellow fin TUNA are still ripping up bait, lures, and poppers with fierce determination.
The recent ban on large long line operations is proving a godsend. The tuna schools have not been dispersed, and there are more marlin and sails to catch n' release. Way to GO Panama!!
Sailfish numbers are improving daily. More and more sardinas growing up, and everything is hunting them. Around Islas Paridas and Islas Secas, the ROOSTERFISH are biting nicely. Some very nice CUBERA SNAPPER and AMBERJACK being taken on live baits off the lighthouse on Secas.
Isla Parida giving up some great roosters on slow-trolled blue runners and sardines.
DORADO (MAHI) are a bit spotty right now, but some are being taken. 10 miles westerly off Isla Ladrones is a great spot for them right now.
Follow a snow plow to the airport and Come On DOWN!!!
