Capt. Luis Iglesias
December 17, 2014
Fajardo - Saltwater Fishing Report

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2015.

This December the wind factor has been to our advantage. Light winds and slightly offshore wind for the beginning of the month. Large long period swells have prevailed the area but only Affecting the shore and making the fishing in the trench smooth with long rollers.

The Bite for the past three week, King mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Black Fin tuna and sail Fish.

Plenty of currents and long weed lines of Sargasso with floating object brought out from rivers.

The Rain has affected the water quality putting the blue water sometimes a few miles farther out than the usual.

We will try to provide another fishing report before the 2014 ends, but if not we will keep reporting in 2015.
