Happy Three Kings Report and Fajardo Fishing

Capt. Luis Iglesias
January 6, 2014
Fajardo - Saltwater Fishing Report

Happy New Year and Happy Three Kings to all you Salty Dogs and Salty Gals.

The Report goes as follows, High pressure and cold front swells have kept the PR trench and the North east of Puerto Rico with sporty conditions and rough seas. There has been two windows of smoother seas (December 24,25 and January 3).

The bite for Mahi Mahi and Wahoo is slower than past year although the billfish bite for Sails , whites and Small Blues is active around the moon cycle (specially around San Juan) for the North East mostly Bonitos, Nice King Mackerels and CUDAS.

We will wait for the setting up of the conditions, cause as we speak the conditions are 21+ knots and 8-10ft swell all white caps and wind built seas.

till next report and bite

Capt Luis Iglesias AKA Church

Fajardo Fishing Forecast:

When the wind settles down a little bit the bite will get hot.
