San Juan - Saltwater Fishing Report

The fishing has entered the warm weather pattern, which can be very confusing to the less experienced guides.
Last week, Quicksilver released a 90 to 100 pound Tarpon on 12 pound test,a 65 to 75 pound tarpon on 14 pound test and a 60 pound tarpon on 12 pound test, all on consecutive dates.
In addition, several "Puerto Rico Grand Slams" consisting of powerful Jack Crevalle, Snook and Tarpon were also accomplished!
Many happy customers, were wowed by the tarpons awesome stamina and power and vowed to return to do it again.
San Juan Fishing Forecast:

The summer pattern here on the island is very dependent on the weather systems, fronts, tropical storms, etc.
Once the pattern is established, the fish tendo to hold in that location unitl something disturbs the pattern.
We fish almost every day, including on days without customers, so that we can remain on track with the tarpon movements!
Target Species:

Tarpon, Snook and Jacks
