Trout and Reds heating up

Capt. Rick Percy
March 31, 2016
Beaufort - Saltwater Fishing Report

The trout and Redfish bite has begun to heat up in the low country along with the water and air temperatures. Have had several good trips the last couple of weeks, with a one client trip that picked up 15 trout and 4 nice Redfish. The trout came on a Vudu shrimp under a popping cork, and the Redfish ate a Gulp Molten shrimp. And had 8 really nice Reds this week on a 3 hour trip with the biggest over 31 inches, and around 12 pounds. It is almost time for the Cobia to show in Port Royal Sound as our water temps are approaching the magic 68 degree number. Can't wait to have a client hooked up on a big brownie.
