Charleston - Saltwater Fishing Report

Well its been awhile since my last report but I have been busy with charters which is a good thing.The Redfish bite has been good on the flats during the low tides with flies,top-water plugs and live baits early in the morning and can still be seen in good numbers 20-50 fish in a school.The Redfish having been tailing good in the grass during the flood tides and seen in good numbers and will carrying on till late fall this is some fun Sight fishing with Flies/Light tackle.
Speckle Trout are being caught in good numbers with some of the fish weighing 2-5lbs and are being caught on live menhadens around structure this season has been Great for big Trouts and numbers.lady fish ,Black drum ,Flounder and Bonnet Head harks have move into the Inlets and creeks for the Summer time.
Inshore Wrecks and Shipping lane bouys are holding Cobias ,Amberjacks and big Cudas and can be Chum up with live baits and caught on Flies ,Jigs,and Top-water plugs .We are having some great fishing call and book your next fishing trip and Come see what the Low Country has to offer Fly /Light tackle Anglers!!
