Excellent Redfish action in Charleston South Carolina

Capt. Michael Bales
February 8, 2017
Charleston - Saltwater Fishing Report

The last few weeks of weather here in Charleston, SC has been downright Crazy. Windy and Cold, Slick Calm, Foggy and warm, you name it & we've had it. Hopefully next week will bring some stable fishing conditions allowing for a few more days on the water.

When the weather cooperates, we're catching good numbers of fish, primarily sight-fishing to laid-up singles or feeding & cruising redfish schools. The last few trips have been on the outgoing and low tides around the exposed mud and tidal grass flats.

David and Barry joined me from Kentucky this week and got to sight cast to their first ever SC redfish! Great job guys!
