Lowcountry Redfish Tails in Charleston, SC

Capt. Michael Bales
May 20, 2017
Charleston - Saltwater Fishing Report

This past week we have seen some beautiful weather here in the lowcountry and the fishing has been great. The last few trips were spent fishing the outgoing low tide allowing for some great sight fishing in the grass and around oyster bars.

We have been seeing a lot of tailing fish and cruisers chasing shrimp and finger mullet. Fly Anglers have had best success on smaller shrimp patterns and clousers.
Light tackle options have included live shrimp or topwater in the mornings, both of which, have been producing well. Give us call to enjoy some great fishing around Charleston, SC
